Get ready for what’s coming through our gates.

Check out Isaiah 60: 11 & 18

When the Holy Spirit drew my attention to these verses, I had no idea what they meant (especially v18) . But I knew there was power in calling my walls salvation and my gates praise. It was an act of obedience with zero understanding! Ha! Which for me as a thinker was funny in itself. I like to understand, and I like to comprehend, but for this I knew just pray and declare without knowing what you’re doing. Over the last 2 years as I’ve continued to pray and declare and thank God, little glimpses of understanding have come. I still don’t have full understanding, but that’s ok.

What I have learned is that our gates are called praise (v18) and our gates are open continually (v11). This is a prayer that I have loved to pray “Thank you God that the gates to our business are open continually, thank you that they are not shut day or night, thank you that they are open so that the wealth of the gentiles will come in.

I’ve been doing a lot of praising and thanking standing at the gates, ready in anticipation for what’s about to come through the gates.

I believe there’s a lot more we can do in the spirit then in the natural, so when we pray and declare things, circumstances and situations in the natural shift. Most of the heavy lifting in our businesses we can do in prayer. This is our super power. It’s done from a place of rest!

So business owners, I wanted to share this with you and encourage you that the of the gentiles (wealth of this world) is coming though the gates of all our businesses. As uncertainty and unrest ramps up in our society, I believe as kingdom business owners we operate on a different level. As the finances and economy of our world starts to shake, we operate in the peace of kingdom finances and the kingdom’s economy. It won’t make sense in the natural, but that’s the best thing, as this is what gives glory to God, not ourselves.

This week as I was reading Micah 4:13, it was another one of those moments when the Holy Spirit illuminated a verse for me with zero understanding. I have started studying and journaling, and what I have learned so far is that God will funnel the world’s wealth to those who serve His Kingdom’s interests and concerns. So businesses get ready!!!

Be encouraged, be blessed, and despite what you might be seeing in the natural in your businesses, focus on heaven’s reality and perspective when it comes to your business. The world will be driving one way and we’re called to travel the opposite.
